What kind of workout is it?
A Marathon
Jeff Galloway has a pretty prominent interval training program for marathon runners. Supposed to be pretty doable. Doesn't mean I enjoy being sore for three days after working out. This playlist was painstakingly curated by checking that every song on it has at least 150 bpm. In between loving pizza and beer, hopefully this playlist can get you going.
Clearing Your Head
A playlist of songs so big you'll zone in on your feet hitting the pavement instead of the life decision you may be trying to avoid.
Unplug, strap on some running shoes, and clear your head.
Therapeutic
This playlist is not for your average gym-on-a-Tuesday workout. Save this mix for the day that you're at the end of your rope because you stepped in gum, leaned on wet paint, and missed the train and the bus. This playlist is made up of angry songs for you to take out your pent-up anger on the treadmill, not your roommate.
Cardio
I truly believe the secret to enjoying cardio is 80s music. Here's a compilation of what gets me through the hour (alright most of the time half hour) I allot for the gym sometimes.
